VEI Sites builds websites for homes that are for sale. When you visit one, we count what happens on the page so the listing agent can see how the home is doing, like how many people opened the floor plans. Here's what we collect, and what we don't.

What we collect when you visit

• The pages you visit on VEI Sites, and when.
• What you open or tap, like photos, the video, the 3D tour, floor plans, the map, calendar links, and the call, text, and email buttons.
• About how long you spend on a page, and how far down you scroll.
• How you found the page, like a QR code on a yard sign or flyer, Instagram, Facebook, an email, a text, the MLS, or another website.
• Your kind of device and browser (like an iPhone with Safari) and your screen size.
• Your approximate town and the kind of network you're on (home internet, a phone carrier, a business, or a school), as our host, Cloudflare, reads them from your connection.

A random ID in your browser

To tell a first visit from a return visit, your browser keeps a random ID for this website. It's saved in your browser's storage, not in a cookie, and on its own it doesn't say who you are. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

Your IP address

Every website sees an IP address when your browser connects. We don't store yours. We turn it into a short scrambled code (made with a secret key) and keep only that code. We use it for one thing: noticing visits from the same network, like one household.

When you send a form

If you send a showing request or sign in at an open house, we get what you type, like your name, email, phone number, and message. It goes to the listing agent, and it can include a short summary of your visits to that listing, so they know what caught your eye. If you order a site from the VEI Sites page, your order comes to us so we can build it. We only use what you send to reply to you.

What we don't do

• No ad trackers. No Facebook, Google, or other advertising pixels, and no third-party cookies.
• We never sell or rent information about you, and we don't share it with advertisers.
• We don't try to identify you from your device's settings (known as fingerprinting).

Other services on the page

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. A video or 3D tour loads from its own service, like YouTube, Vimeo, or Matterport, only when you press play or start it, and that service's own privacy policy covers it. Map links open Google Maps.

How long we keep it

We delete visit records after 13 months, and our copies of form messages after 13 months too. A message that already reached an agent stays with them, under their brokerage's own policies.

Turn it off

To stop this browser from being counted on VEI Sites, use this link: Stop counting this browser. To start again: Count this browser again. The choice is saved in this browser for the web address you're on (sites.vividestateimaging.com and vei-sites.pages.dev each keep their own). Turning off JavaScript for this site works too.
